‘Britain lacks vision because it is suffering an identity crisis’

This headline appeared at the head of a comment article in The Daily Telegraph for 14 October, 2014, as MPs in the House of Commons at Westminster gathered to debate plans for additional devolution following the Scottish Referendum on independence.

In point of fact the headline should more accurately have been written in the reverse, i.e., ‘Britain is suffering an identity crisis because it lacks vision.’ This is confirmed by the Proverb in our national prophetic record, the Bible, which states that “Where there is no vision, the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18).

After the result of the Scottish Referendum, the United Kingdom remains united giving us cause to glorify Almighty God for it was He – the God of the whole House of Israel – who joined the ‘two sticks’ of  Scotland and England in 1603 and 1707 in fulfilment of the prophecy in Ezekiel 37:15-22. This great vision, seen in the context of Britain’s constitutional foundations as the nation under God, is a difficult concept for the present generation unaware that they have a great and unique birthright overlaid in the past half century by the alien pagan strategy to create a One World Order under Man.

To recapture the vision and therefore our identity, we are now required to look to the future and to the coming ‘Exodus’ of the United Kingdom from the spiritual Egypt of the European Union. The 800th anniversary in 2015 of the signing of Magna Carta will mark the completion of a renewal and resurrection cycle leading to the deliverance of the Servant People in the Appointed Isles from a dictatorial prophetic Babylon in Europe.

The question concerning the destruction of the British Constitution is very clear for never before in the 700-year-old history of Parliament at Westminster have we signed away to alien bodies the authority to govern us and make binding laws affecting our sovereignty as we have done to the European Union.

Our great statutes of the realm are in unhealthy conflict on the Statute Book with all European legislation since 1972; therefore Parliament, or more precisely – “the Queen-in-Parliament under God” – has in effect become an unlawful assembly. Those who represent us in Parliament (and even the Judiciary itself) need to consider again the words of Sir Thomas Fuller in 1733, quoted by Lord Denning in 1977 and Lord Bingham in 2010: “Be you never so high, the law is above you.”

These great issues are now published in our most recently released book, ROSS WAS RIGHT – The McWhirter File, details of its availability from The Covenant Publishing Company appear on this site.
