The Moneychangers’ Tables to be overturned

 

 

The year 2016 was one of great thankfulness to Almighty God over the result of the EU Referendum vote on 23 June. We always knew that one day the command of the LORD to His Israel people in the Appointed Isles to “Come out of her, My people” would take place. As the campaign developed there was a growing sense that millions were heartily sick of the European Union after 44 years of deception and betrayal and all it was doing to undermine the sovereignty of the Realm.

 

The reality is that the EU is in a state of an approaching economic ‘Titanic’ disaster. Brexit represents the first lifeboat away from the inevitable. Economists like to speak of their projections for the future as a 'science.' It would be very good therefore if all economists considered the biblical economic law of Jubilee release in the fiftieth year. Applied to our soaring National Debt of £1.666 trillion we would not be in the position of having to service this debt now at the level of approximating the defence budget.

 

In the United States of America, it is to be hoped that the incoming administration under a President Trump will tackle its soaring National Debt of $20 trillion, as the new president has indicated he will, otherwise a tsunami of economic disaster may well overtake debt-laden international banking around the world.

 

It is undoubtedly of great significance for the Kingdom teaching that 2017 will mark the 500^th anniversary of Reformation Day when Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Schlosskirche (castle church) at Wittenburg on 31 October, 1517, the event which sparked the Protestant Reformation. Within two weeks, copies of the theses had spread throughout Germany and within two months throughout Europe.

 

Five hundred years is 10 x 50 years, 50 being the number of Jubilee release. Thus we can expect a new period of awakening to the Kingdom teaching as people seek an explanation for the way that Great Britain, the United States of America and other Israel nations on the European Continent break out from the bondage of the European Union.

 

When Jesus Christ came to Jerusalem and entered the Temple, he overturned the tables of the moneychangers. In the prophetic context, as we see the present money system with its soaring national debt – which is threatening to implode at any moment in the United States of America – we should understand that a great cleansing is in progress and that the King of kings is nearer than ever before to entering into His Kingdom upon earth.
