A Message at Christmas

From the President to Members, Associates and Supporters

The year 2019 has witnessed intensified tensions in respect of our Brexit negotiations. The dates of 29 March and 31 October came and passed and Britain, as a result of high-profile court actions and deadlock in Parliament, did not leave the European Union. The strains upon The Queen’s Administration of her Government reached a climax when under our new Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, Parliament was dissolved on 6 November and a General Election called for 12 December.

The outgoing President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, said on 13 November that ”Brexit is the real end of the British Empire,” as he urged Remainers to continue fighting to keep Britain in the EU in the general election. Speaking at the College of Europe (a training ground for a string of European leaders and senior officials) and now free to speak his mind, he aligned himself with our pro-EU retiring Speaker, John Bercow, saying “the UK will become an outsider, a second-rate player, while the main battlefield will be occupied by China, the US and the EU.” The word of the Lord that comes in the face of these insulting and deriding comments is; “Where there is no [prophetic] vision, the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18).

The position of the Remainers in the UK is exactly in the pattern of those Israelites who, coming up against the Red Sea and looking back to see the Egyptians coming after them, railed against Moses saying that it would be better for them to continue serving the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.

It comes to us in BIWF, at the end of our Centenary Year, to raise our voice in witness to this amazing prophetic parallel. Let us continue to pray that ‘God [will] Save The Queen’ and her heirs to preserve this, our British-Israel. With greater emphasis this year, I remind you that the 1662 Book of Common Prayer Lessons for 5 December include the entire chapter of Isaiah 28 where the “covenant with death” under the Treaty of Rome entered into by Parliament on 28 October, 1971, is “disannulled,” or abolished completely. This year, 5 December will be 1260 days (tribulation) from the EU Referendum with 23 December being 1260 solar days –  exactly three and half years after the EU Referendum, or “times, time and half a time” the limit of authority under the pagan Treaty of Rome.

The need at this moment is for the nation to hear the words of Moses to the Israelites caught between Pharaoh’s chariots and the Red Sea: “Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD which he will show to you today” (Exodus 14:13). Also, let us be reminded of the words of Jesus Christ in the Apocalypse to the Apostle John concerning the Two Witnesses (in Church and State): “After three days and a half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them” (Revelation 11:11).

A very happy Christmas to you all,
