Life IN THE B.I.W.F.

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Welcome!

More news for you to read about events, projects and activities in the Federation.

WATCH OUT FOR:

There will be a new programme of ‘Conferences, Rallies and Branch Meetings in 2010’ in December.  Make sure you don’t miss any important events!

NEW!

The Drama of the Lost Disciples is being published in America for the first time.  It has been fully revised with every reference checked and substantiated; there is a new cover, bibliography and index.

‘The Continuing Kingdom of God upon Earth.  Without doubt – the Greatest Love Story of All Time’ – this is being circulated as widely as possible and has even been translated into German.  It was received with enthusiasm by those at the conference in Bad Teinach who gather there every October.  Read more about it in the BIWF Newsletter which will come out in January 2010.

FUTURE EVENTS:

South Area – Rally on Saturday, 14th November – come and discover ‘Our Christian Heritage in the National Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery.’  Leader Martin Lightfoot – 2-4 pm at the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square, London.

BIWF (CANADA)

Michael Clark and David Aimer were invited to be speakers at the 80th Anniversary celebrations of BIWF (Canada) in Toronto in September.  They both spoke twice and enjoyed sharing the fellowship with our friends over there.  Photographs and a fuller report will be in the Newsletter.

RECENT EVENTS:

90th Annual Congress 2009 – ‘The Next Ten Years’ was the theme for the speakers and it was very interesting to hear their different approaches to it.  Gilsland Spa hotel once more provide excellent food and accommodation for us to complete the celebration of 90 years of witness in the Federation.

National Bible College Lecture – on Tuesday, 27th October, there was a presentation on St Martin’s Cross in Iona.  These lectures continue to be well-supported which is very encouraging.

Rallies – Troon and the North East Area one in Halifax were held as planned.  These opportunities for fellowship and teaching are an important way of keeping in touch and supporting each other.
