Day of Prayer

Michael A. Clark

IMPORTANT NOTICE

A DAY OF PRAYER IS CALLED

For the True Israel Kingdom Organizations

around the World in the day following

St Michael and All Angels Day

Saturday 30th September, 2017

‘Blow the Trumpet, Sound an Alarm …

Call a Solemn Assembly’ (Joel 2:1; 15)

During the past year Her Majesty The Queen entered her 92nd year as the longest serving British monarch since 9 September 2015. On 6 February 2017, she became the first British monarch to celebrate a sapphire jubilee, commemorating 65 years on the throne.  Continue to pray that ‘God [will] Save The Queen’ and her heirs to preserve this, our British-Israel.

On 29th March 2017, Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty was triggered for the United Kingdom to leave the European Union. We need to pray that the LORD will deliver the United Kingdom completely from the Babylonish EU as the difficult negotiations proceed.

The growing crisis over North Korea is very much in our concerns. It is important that the covenant nations call upon the Lord of Hosts as defender of His People to deliver a victory – if indeed it becomes necessary for the United States, as the leading military nation of the Host under the great “Commander to the people,” to put down the aggressor regime (Isaiah 55:4).

It is our solemn duty to call a Day of Prayer in order to prepare for the coming solemn assembly. With this in mind, we ask all Israel Kingdom believers to pray (either singly or in groups) on Saturday 30th September, 2017.  The LORD will hear the prayers of His dedicated servants.

In the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, the 28th September is appointed for the reading of Joel chapter 2 while the 29th is the Feast of St. Michael and All Angels – the day when Israel’s Defender, the archangel Michael, who stands up for the children of God’s People in their great time of trouble (Daniel 12:1), is remembered. What better intercession at this time can we conduct than to ask the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to prepare His people for events ahead as the LORD brings His people out of the night of symbolical Egypt and Babylon and into His Day of Light and Righteousness?

You may already have in mind what you want to say to the Almighty as we approach the 30th September, but listed with this notice are some suggested aids. Let us also bear in mind that where two or three are gathered together in the LORD’s name, He is in the midst (Matthew 18:20).

      God bless you all,

     Michael A. Clark, President

A DAY OF PRAYER

In preparation for the coming ‘Solemn Assembly’

(Joel  2:15)

“Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts; let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.  Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them, wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?

(Joel  2:16-17)
